Here at iFlowReader you will find everything you need to know regarding the Apple universe from Jailbreak Guides to the hottest news available. You don’t need to search around the web, just stay tuned with us to get the latest of the Apple world. For those of you who don’t already know “jailbreaking” is the process that frees the user from Apple’s restrictions. As you well know if you own an iPhone, iPad or an iPod Touch, Apple has some clear boundaries regarding its policy. For example you can’t change the theme or install 3rd party apps on your iDevice. Here is where the jailbreak community steps in and helps you out. At the moment there are two consecrated development teams, Chronic Dev Team and iPhone Dev Team, that constantly release jailbreak tools which as you probably guessed help us jailbreak the iDevices.

Latest Jailbreak Tools And Guides

Step-By-Step GuideDownload Evasi0n

iPhone Dev Team is the most popular team of jailbreak developers and they’ve provided us with jailbreak tools since the very beginning of the jailbreak phenomenon. Their most popular tool is called Redsnow and it has been used to jailbreak our iDevices for almost two years now. With every iOS version released by Apple, an updated version of Redsnow would have also been released in order to provide the jailbreak support.  The Redsnow jailbreak process is not complicated. First you download and install the tool and then follow the simple step-by-step set of instructions and you’re done. Follow our guide posted here to jailbreak iOS 5.1.1 untethered withRedsnow 0.9.12b2 jailbreak tool. Also you can download the latest Redsnow version from our Downloadssection.

The guys from Chronic Dev Team have become extremely popular earlier this year in January when they released the untethered jailbreak tool for iOS 5.0.1 called Absinthe 2.0. At that time Absinthe was the only tool which could jailbreak 5.0.1 untethered running on iPhone 4S and iPad 2. Currently iOS 5.1.1 can be jailbroken with multiple tools, Absinthe 2.0.4 being one of them. Follow our guide posted here if you want to jailbreak 5.1.1 untethered with Absinthe tool and also head on to our Downloads section to get the latest Absinthe version. However if you rely on a carrier unlock I strongly recommend that you stay away from Absinthe 2.0.4 as it doesn’t provide baseband preservation. Therefore if you are an unlocker then you should use Redsnow orSnowbreeze.

Update #1: As you probably well know Apple has just released the final version of iOS 6. Like always the guys from iPhone Dev Team did their job and released jailbreak iOS 6. However this is a tethered jailbreak so you will have to boot your iDevice into the tethered state every time it runs out of battery life. Also Redsnow 6.0 works only for iPhone 4, 3GS and iPod Touch 4G, 3G. Sources reported that untethered jailbreak iOS 6 will be released soon. If you really like your apps than you should downgrade to iOS 5.1.1 because you never know when jailbreak iOS 6 untethered will come out. Check out our latest jailbreak guides for more information.

Update #2: Apple has just released iOS 6.0.1 update. For the moment just like for iOS 6, we only have jailbreak iOS 6.0.1 tethered available and just like before Redsnow 6.0.1 works only for iPhone 4, 3GS, iPod Touch 4G, 3G. Unfortunately jailbreak iOS 6.0.1 untethered is not available at the moment for any iDevice. Stay tuned with iFlowReader and be the first to find out when jailbreak iOS 6.0.1 untethered is released.

Update #3: Earlier today iOS 6.1 final version was officially released. I am glad to reveal that jailbreak iOS 6.1 is available for iPhone 4, 3GS, iPod Touch 4G, 3G. Unfortunately for the moment jailbreak iOS 6.1 is only available in tethered mode. We expect that jailbreak iOS 6.1 untethered will be released soon, most likely in the next week or so. Stay tuned.

Snowbreeze 2.9.8 Untethered Jailbreak for iOS 6.1 / 6.0 Now Available

By Mike posted Feb 11th 2013 10:05AM

Since everybody was eager to find a jailbreak tool capable of offering untethered jailbreak for iOS 6 devices, the Evad3rs team hurried in releasing the Evasi0n. On the other hand, the iH8sn0w developer recently found a solution in order to update his famous software, Snowbreeze. For those of you who are faithful to Snowbreeze in order to jailbreak your iDevice, here you have some good news. Snowbreeze 2.9.8 untethered jailbreak for iOS 6.1/ 6.0 is now available.

Snowbreeze 2.9.8 Untethered Jailbreak

This new tool offers support for older devices such as iPhone 3GS and all A4 based devices. Snowbreeze does not offer support for A5, A5X and A6 devices because hackers still cannot find a low-level exploit. If you are not familiar with this topic, Snowbreeze is only compatible with Windows. If you find yourself in these two categories, then Snowbreeze can turn out to be quite powerful and effective.

On the other hand, the update comes also with several important improvements. I am sure that you ask yourself what else is new within this update. To start, you have untethered support for jailbreaking iOS 6.0 and iOS 6.1 on older devices. Developers also fixed the Hacktivation issue for iOS 6.0.X devices.READ MORE

By Mike posted Feb 11th 2013 10:05AM

I am sure that almost all of you had a second though before starting jailbreaking on iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch. But now, many of you actually verified to see if the device actually if compatible with jailbreaking? For this, we have F0recast, a popular tool developed by the iH8Sn0w for jailbreak users. Now, you have the possibility to download the latest version of the F0recast 1.4.2 free to check the jailbreak or unlock status of your device.

F0recast 1.4.2 Check Jailbreak Status

Therefore, as I mentioned earlier, F0recast is a popular tool created and released by iH8sn0w in order to help us to find out if our iOS device can be tethered or untethered jailbreak. As we are used by iH8Sn0w, this simple tool, just like the Snowbreeze, offers support only for Windows users. This will determine whether your iPods and iPhone are tethered or in the case of the iPhone only, if it is suitable for unlock. In the same time, this simple and easy tool proves to be quite efficient because if tells you your Boot loader in order to notify you if you are able to downgrade your baseband if you are planning to unlock your device.

As you can figure it up, F0recast 1.4.2 is quite a lightweight application that allows iOS users to find out useful information about their devices. For this, you need to download F0recast 1.4.2 on your computer, to connect your device to your computer and start the tool.READ MORE

Cydia is the place where you can find third party apps to install on your device. However, in order to get Cydia, you need to jailbreak first. As you know, Cydia works with Cydia sources or Cydia repos. This is the only way in which are you able to find and download any kinds of apps and tweaks, sometimes even free of charge. Recently, some people complained about the fact that Hackulous source is not working anymore. If you are a fan of Hackulous source, I am sure that you want to fix Hackulous Source not found issue as soon as possible.

However, for this you need to start jailbreak on your iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch first. How To Fix Cydia Not Loading and Packages Not Installing Issues after Evasion Jailbreak

By Mike posted Feb 7th 2013 4:45PM

Many users already encountered several problems after performing the untethered jailbreak using the Evasion tool. In most of the cases, some users complaint about Cydia not loading issues or Packages not installing. If you find yourself in this situation, and you want to know how to fix Cydia not loading and packages not installing issues after Evasion jailbreak, then you should read the rest of the article.

Cydia not loading issues after Evasion Jailbreak

As it was expected, there were some problems surrounding the well-awaited jailbreak tool. The most common problem that almost every user encountered is that he is not able to download any app or tweak from Cydia Store, or Cydia is not loading at all. This issue might occur because many people started the jailbreak process and they launched Cydia almost in the same time. Due to the high volume of visitors, Cydia failed to launch. You do not have to worry because this problem has a solution.

In some cases, the simplest and the easiest solution for this problem is to wait until things chill down, and the number of visitors will drop a little bit. At this point, you will be able to access Cydia and Cydia packages as usual. However, this thing might happen in a day or two, so do not make any hopes of accessing it pretty soon. However, as I mentioned earlier, the number of people who want to browse Cydia Store for downloading apps and tweaks is pretty high so the third-party app platform might react with delay. Therefore, after waiting almost 48 hours, I am sure that things will calm down, and you will be able to launch Cydia properly, and all packages will load normally.READ MORE

Pubblicato in: iPhone.

  • Lanciate VirtualBox
  • Selezionare “Crea nuova Virtual Machine”
